Comfy Crocs? Eh . . . not so much. . . I’ve wanted a pair of Crocs for a while. When the Prima came along, I finally ordered them since they were so, so cute. After reading the reviews, I was unsure about whether to buy them or not since I have wide feet and I wasn’t sure how they would respond. After wearing them several times, trying to give them a chance to adjust, I have decided that I really, really do NOT like these shoes. First, they are really, REALLY comfy upon initial wear, despite my wide foot. So, I wore them out thinking they’d be mine forever. After a few hours of wear, they really started to rub and irritate my toe. Okay. One little thing. I’m sure with a few more wears it will be no big deal. So, I wore them the next day. To work. I’m a teacher so I’m usually on my feet all day long, but after about an hour of wear, my feet started to sweat a bit and they squeaked and farted so, so much. I didn’t even want to walk! It was so annoying and a bit on the embarrassing side (especially in a room full of absolutely silent, mid-term testing high school students). Charles David Grommet Flat Shoes. I love how light they are and I still think they’re cute, but if I had known how they’d behave, I would have returned them before wearing! Now, I’m stuck with these shoes that I can’t really wear. I’m a bit bummed. But, if you’re a wide foot and you’re curious like me, be careful with sizing. Charles David Grommet Shoes. Normally I’m a 9.5, but I ordered a 10 and they were too big. Humph. Go figure.
Cute, comfy - I have the original Crocs in a size 5 (my usual size is 6 1/2), but after reading others’ comments, I ordered these in a size 6 instead, and they’re great. So yes, they definitely run smaller than other Crocs. I have both the silver and gold. The colors are as pictured… the “silver” is a dull grayish silver and the “gold” is almost like a beige or taupe. Charles David Grommet Footwear. These are comfy and cute. Would recommend. The Crocs website sells the Prima in an extended range of colors now (including light pink, lavender, aqua, etc)… would like to see Zappos sell these as well.
Crocs Prima - These shoes are cuter than I thought they’d be. I half-expected to send them back, but they are light, cute and comfortable. They do look relatively sleek (for a Croc). The silver really does look silverish instead of light gray, and the gold is kind of gold, blending with my light skin color. The fuchsia is really bright pink. Worth trying! I haven’t worn them outside yet to comment.
Cute shoe /loose in heel - I love my Crocs they are so comfortable that I even wear them in the house, I usually kick my shoes off as soon as I get in the door so that says a lot about the comfort of Crocs. I was so excited to find a Croc that was more stylish to wear with slacks and skirts but can’t keep these on my heels, the shoes slip on my heels as I walk.
These don’t work with my feet - I wanted shoes for wearing around the house — easy on and simple. I have to give them a 5 for looks because I knew what I was getting (Crocs are ugly). I really wanted them to be comfortable, but they just aren’t for me. I have super high arches, narrow heels, and medium forefoot. I tried them with socks (thin and thick) and even bare foot. After 4 days of trying to like them and wearing around the house, I have decided I will need to return them. My feet hurt with them, and I feel relieved when I take them off. Zappos.com is SO awesome to have such a great return policy
Cute but not comfortable enough for me. I have a pair of Beach Crocs in a size 8 and they’re a tad big. I bought the Prima in an 8 and it’s a half size too small. The top of the opening rub against my foot and created a raw spot after wearing them around the house for 20 min. I went to a store to try on size 9’s and they were too big. My heel would flap out of them when I walked. They’re cute but not for me. I’m returning them. Cute! These are super-light and comfy, but my feet sweat a lot and make squishy sounds in these things! Also, like others, I feel that the sizes aren’t quite “right”. I normally wear a 9 or 9.5 in most shoes, but the size 9 is a bit too big and the size 8 is way too small.
